Atlanta, GA and Merrimack, NH —- September 6, 2001 — Composit Communications USA and iMessaging Systems, Inc. today announced a multifaceted agreement aimed at better alignment of the companies and solutions offerings within their respective market segments. iMessaging Systems, providers of real-time messaging products for the AS/400(iSeries), and Composit Communications USA, providers of customer interaction management (CIM) solutions for the contact center industry, offer premier communication solutions in their particular fields.
Specifically, the agreement transfers and assigns all rights and obligations under present Composit maintenance agreements for Composit's ML/5250 DOS and ML/400 DOS interactive voice response solutions to iMessaging Systems, effective August 15, 2001. With the acceptance of the maintenance agreements, iMessaging gains access to the source code for these products for the purpose of providing program updates and fixes for maintenance clients. Under the terms of this agreement all Composit customers presently engaged in a maintenance agreement for either ML/5250 DOS or ML/400 DOS solutions will be serviced by iMessaging.
Additionally, the agreement provides iMessaging with the non-exclusive rights to market and sell Composit's ML/5250 DOS and ML/400 DOS solutions, as well as the Composit ML/400-NT interactive voice response system and Composit's CIMphone solution for customer interaction centers.
