iMessaging Systems appoints Karen M. Sedlar as CEO
Merrimack, NH, October 20, 2006 – iMessaging Systems, Inc. announced today that Karen M. Sedlar has been appointed CEO. Since iMessaging’s founding in 2001, Sedlar has held a variety of positions with the company including roles within sales & marketing, account management, and finance.
Sedlar brings over 17 years of experience in the IBM Midrange industry, with particular focus on voice systems, telephony and call center automation. As well, Sedlar has held key leadership roles while with RMTi and its predecessor Rydex Industries. Both companies focused on IBM Midrange platforms. As CEO, Sedlar will retain responsibility for sales and partnerships, while guiding the company’s progress as a key player in the emerging VoIP market specific to IP Telephony for the IBM System i.
